These Terms govern your use of the Lumo website and, once a paid engagement begins, your use of the Lumo AI receptionist and related services ("Services"). By using this site or the Services you agree to these Terms.

Who we are

Lumo is operated by Santiago Vargas ("Lumo", "we", "us"), an entity currently in formation, doing business as Lumo. Until formation is complete, Santiago Vargas is the contracting party for any engagement. Lumo operates as a Miami/Madrid AI studio.

The service

The Lumo website is informational: local businesses can learn about our AI voice and messaging agent services, try live demos, and request a free missed-call audit. Binding service agreements are confirmed by us in writing (a signed proposal, order form, or equivalent), not by anything shown on this website alone.

Once engaged, Lumo provides an AI receptionist and related voice, SMS/WhatsApp, and web-chat agents that answer calls and messages on your behalf, qualify callers, and book appointments into your calendar, along with the supporting integrations (telephony, scheduling, and notifications) needed to run them.

Enquiries and estimates

Any figures shown on this site, including the missed-call calculator, are estimates for illustration only and are not a quote or a guarantee of results. Actual pricing is quoted per business after an intake call. We may decline any enquiry at our discretion.

Setup fee refund policy

Where a one-time setup fee is charged to configure your AI receptionist, it is refundable in full if you cancel within 30 days of the setup fee being paid and before the agent has gone live answering real customer calls. Recurring monthly service fees are billed month-to-month and are not retroactively refunded for time already in service; you may cancel future billing at any time per your service agreement.

Live demos

The voice and chat demos are provided so you can evaluate the product. Their responses are generated by AI and may be inaccurate or incomplete; they are not professional advice, and no booking, price, or commitment expressed by a demo agent is binding. Voice demo calls may be recorded and transcribed as described in our Privacy Policy — do not share sensitive personal information through the demos. We may limit, throttle, or disable the demos at any time.

Call recording

Where Lumo's Services place, receive, or relay phone calls — including the live voice demo and any deployed AI receptionist — those calls may be recorded and transcribed for service delivery, quality, and training purposes. By continuing a call with a Lumo AI agent, you consent to that recording to the extent required by law. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Acceptable use

You may not use the site or the Services to attempt unauthorized access, scrape data systematically, send abusive or unlawful content through the demos or forms, attempt to extract underlying prompts or models, or otherwise interfere with normal operation.

Intellectual property

All site content, including text, images, design, and code, is the property of Lumo or its licensors. You may not reproduce or republish material without written permission. Client work shown remains the property of its respective owners.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lumo is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the website, the demos, or the Services, and does not guarantee any specific volume of calls, bookings, or revenue. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be brought before the courts located in New Mexico, USA.

Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after publication of changes constitutes acceptance.
